Handley:
After having about 2 hours sleep, we had a serious debate about whether we could stay in the hostel with the creepies!
At the end of the debate we decided that some people spend thousands on theraoy trying to overcome their fears so for the paltry sum of our rent we could treat the experience as therapy for our arachnophobia - so it was decided we would stay - I swear I heard a small cheer from Harry.
So we hopped on a tour bus which took us round the area and allowed us to hop on and off at all the spots that looked interesting.
First stop was the Everglades garden, which had an old art deco building set in 13 hectres of bushland. Not quite like the gardens you get back at home, but still nice to have a walk around. Although we did see a big funnel web spider web in a tree trunk, no sign of the spider though, but to be honest we weren't hanging about looking for him either!!
Next stop was Gorden Falls, although we couldn't see the falls as I don't think there was much water running over it. We did a bush walk from here to Leura Cascade and saw some more of wild Austrailia.
We stopped at a few lookouts and were lucky again with the weather and got some great views:
