So what's been happening!?..... not a lot to be honest.....

We've booked a few more trips and bits of accommodation.  Pretty much sorted the accommodation for the south island in New Zealand. Originally we were going to try and avoid booking too much accommodation to keep the flexibility in the plan, but after doing a bit of investigation it turned out that as we hit NZ at the peak of the summer it's actually a good idea to do a little bit of forward planning.... so it's been all go on the booking front.  I must give a shout out to Helen and say a big thank you for lending us your Top 10 members card :)

Sorted out a night trip to Alcatraz which sounds amazing, got the white water rafting booked..... we think.... got a ref from the website, but no real details or confirmation! Other than that just got booked onto a few other trips on trains and general sight seeing tours.

I guess the main news is that I've had my eyes lasered. Something that I've been putting off for years now as I've always had an excuse not to do it, but travelling seemed like as good an excuse as any to get my vision sorted.

I can't claim to have been brave about it, in fact far from it, I may just have been the biggest wimp they've ever seen, but I got through it and came out the other side with near 20/20 vision yay me!

Well that's about as exciting as it gets for now, I'm sure these things will pick up once we are on the road and more interesting things start happening!
